This is a series of books that I designed a couple of years ago. The series is called Social Skills and discusses different social situations that kids are going to experience. They give helpful advice on how to deal with these situations. These books are for grade levels 3-6.
When I am designing I like to take the theme of the books into consideration to come up with a concept for the design. Some of the photo research was tough because you are dealing more with emotions than with actions. I really had to think outside the box.
When designing the interior of the books I try to pull elements from the cover into the design.
